MISSION TO LEPERS
SECRETARY APPOINTED EX-GISBORNE RES! DENT (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N„ this day. Mr. F. C. Perry, clerk for the Waitomo Gounty Council, has been appointed New Zealand secretary to the Mission to Lepers, in succession to the Rev. F. A. Crawshaw, of Palmerston North, who leaves for Australia shortly. Mr. Perry has had considerable experience in Christian work and is president of the County Clerks' Association. Mr. F. (diaries Perry was formerly a member of the reporting staff of the Poverty Ray Herald. Subsequently he joined the staff of the Cook County Council, and was appointed county clerk on the death of the late Mr. ,J. Warren. On his appointment to the Waitomo County Council he moved to Te Kuiti some years ago. Mr. Perry was for many years superintendent of St. Andrew’s Sundav School, Gisborne.
