AMENDMENT PROPOSED
commercial trusts act (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON’, this day. An amendment of the Commercial Trusts Act is proposed in a bill introduced in tho Legislative Council by Sit Francis Bell. Tho Act constitutes it an offence to make illegal concessions in consideration of exclusive dealings, or to refuse to supply goods unless the conditions are disadvantageous. Sir Francis Bell desires to qualify the operation of these clauses by adding "if ho thereby acts contrary to tho public interest.”
