DISTANCE FLYING
POLES ATTACK RECORD (Received September 13, 11 a.m.) WARSAW, Sept. 12. Two Roles, Colonel Filip.owicz and Captain Lewoniewski, have started an attempt to beat the world long-dis-tance flight record. They are flying due east over the Soviet Union.
EARLY DISASTER
(Received Sept. 13, noon) MOSCOW, Sept. 12.
Colonel Filipowicz crashed at Choebo kari, and was injured. Captain Lewonlewski- escaped by parachute.
