AUSTRIA’S NEW ERA
POLICY OUTLINED VAST PATRIOTIC MEETING (Received Sept. 12, 2 p.m.) VIENNA, Sept. 11.
Dr. Doljfuss, declaring his policy to a patriotic audience of 70,000, announced the termination of the era of Marxism and capitalism in Austria in favor of authoritative leadership on a Christian and guild basis. Major Emil Fey hinted at a reconciliation with Germany, which he described as Austria’s elder brother. He refrained from identifying himself with any existing Cabinet group.
