PRESIDENT SELECTED • I UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR HAVANA (Cuba), Sept. 10. Dr. Ramon Grail, of San Martin, a former university professor, was on Saturday named President of Cuba by members of tho junta which, last week, took over the Government from Senor Carlos de Cespedes. Three hundred Cuban army officers, ousted by the troops on Monday, were held as virtual prisoners on Friday night in the Hotel National, thus diverting attention from attempts by the Executive Commission to select a new President. Machine guns were trained on the building.
