FRENCH CUSTOMS UNION
LONDON, July 31. Lord Beaverbrook, Canadian-born newspaper peer, has gone on a visit to the French colonies in Africa expressly for a study of the customs union between France and her eoh-nies.. Lord Beaverbrook, who conducted a vigorous Empire “free trade” crusade some years ago, explains this is the system which he'thinks should be adopted by Great Britain with respect to her colonies.
