KAHUTIA CLUB GAMES Saturday was rather on the cold side for bowls', but nevertheless in - spite of the conditions, a number of the more enthusiastic members of the Kahuti.i club turned out for their afternoon s games. „ , , ' A visiting rink from the Poverty Bay club, comprising McKenzie, Hankey, Casneron and McKenzie (s) lost to Wood, Gallop, Morris, and Sawyer (s) to the tune of 12-24. The veteran Kahutia skip, excelled himself and played some remarkably good shots, making a big difference to' the score. Other games- resulted: — „ „ , , , Cotton, Bayne, Ritchie, Pollock (s) 24 v. Froude, Donaldson, Simpson, Downey R. Campbell and J. Eaton, (s) 15 V. P. Smith and J. Rothwell (s) 12.
