Weather still fine in most places, some scattered light showers at first between Castlepoint and Bast Cupe, and later in Westland and the far south. Cool night, but mild day temperatures. Midday Forecast General inference.—The anticyclone has passed eastward off the Dominion, and a shallow westerly depression is moving on to the South Island. Weather mainly fair, but some coastal showers are still likely. Seas rather rough.
