INTRUDER TRAPPED
AN EFFECTIVE ALARM 12 MONTHS’ GAOL (Par Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The sounding of an electric alarm in a garrige in Oriental Parade resulted in George William Low, 30, being charged with being an incorrigible rogue, in that he was found without lawful excuse in a garage, and 'having been previously convicted as a rogue and vagabond. It was stated that the garage bad been entered on several occasions lately, and the owner, Mr Wallace, installed an alarm to notify him'of any unauthorised intrusion. When the alarm went this morning he went to tho garage, locked the door, and notified tlie police. The accused wits sentenced to 12 months’ gaol. 5 ,..
