THEFT AND ASSAULT (Per Praia Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Thomas Henry Goody, 44, who stole a (pair of boots from a city shop yesterday, and threw them at a pursuer, hitting him in the eye, was jo-day sentenced to one month’s goal for theft and assault.
The magistrate, Mr E. D. Mosley, said the man was an habitual criminal who had been out. on license.
