The members of the No. 4 District Transport Licensing Authority arrived in Gisborne to-day from the north, and will hold a sitting hero to-morrow to deni with goods traffic licenses on tho main highways of the district. If tho sitting exceeds the one day provided for it in the schedule of the authority, it will be adjourned until Saturday morning, the authority having made an engagement to meet Coast applicants for licenses at Te Puia on Friday. Messrs. F. B. Logan and Maurice Chambers, the Napier members of tho authority, will proceed south during the week-end, accompanied by Mr. J. Wilkinson, clerk In the authority, whose headquarters are in Napier.
