MR. JOHN AMERY
Mr. John Amery, son of Mr. L_ S Amery, M.P., was married to Miss Una Wing, an actress, in a private chapel in Athens by a Greek Archimandrite who had previously baptised them into the Greek Orthodox faith. In August last year the young couple attempted to marry at Chelsea, England, but the registrar declined to perform the ceremony, because John was under age, being 20, while Miss Wing was 22.
