CASH DONATIONS PREPARING FOR THE WINTER In its preparations for the winter siege of unemployment hardship, the Gisborne Central Relief Committee has been heartened by the receipt of several handsome donations in cash for the purchase of necessary foodstuffs, and by numerous promises of assistance as occasion offers in indhidual cases To-day the committee acknowledged tho receipt of the following cash contributions :—Gisborne Licensed Victuallers’ Association, £25; bliss K.
