Henry, Derisley and Peter Wood, formed the well-known firm of Wood Brothers. At first the two other brothers, Messrs. Charles and Walcbt Wood, were partners in a farming venture ah Kaikpura, but later Mr. Walcot Wood returned to Christchurch and went into business an his own account.
