WELLINGTON GOLF CHAMPION
I.onguet, of the Wellington Club, won the provincial golf championship at Wellington on Tuesday, beating Cook (Hutt) two and one. Longuet showed perfect style. " j The best golf of the tournament was seen in the morning semi-final, when Longuet beat Parker at the nineteenth. Longuet took 37, both out- and in, to Parker’s 36 and 38. Longuet took the nineteenth in four to five. In the other semi-final, Cook beat Arthur Duncan, four and three.
