ADDINGTON SALES POOR DEMAND TOR STORES

PIGS AND BEEF DEARER (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The prolonged period without rain is having an effect on the stock entered at tlie Addington market, and the quality generally is indifferent. Store sheep and. lambs are not in demand as the result of tlie general shortage of feed and water. Fat lambs and sheep were linn at late rates, while cattle supplies were decreasing in numbers and quality. Store sheep.—Mostly inferior or travelstained types came forward, and there was a small entry. Good sheep sold up to late rates, but other sorts showed a decline in values.
