LEAD TO WAR
LITTLE ENTENTE WARNING LONDON, April 8. The open conflict between the spirit ' of the League' of Nations and the new Great Power dictatorship idea is the kev to the European political chaos, writes Mr Wickham Steed in the Sunday Times. The original four-Power Pact, he says, will bring a -sword, and not peace. Dr. Benes, Foreign Minister for Czecho- Slovakia, declares that he has been aware for 18 months of the efforts of the Great Powers to create a fourPower dictatorship, and ii they did so, Czecho slovakia would resign from the League. The Little Entente and Poland arc equally hostile to treaty revision, and the Rumanian Prime Minister, M. lituleseo, has warned Mr. Ramsay Macjrf'' Donald that it would lead to war.
