POPE CONDUCTS MASS 50,000 PARTICIPATE (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received April 17, 2 p.m.) ROME, April .16. At. the continuation of the Holy Year ceremonies, the Pope officiated at High Mass at Saint Peter’s which is without, ‘precedent since 1870. Fifty thousand attended, including Herr von Pa pen, the Austrian Chancellor, Hr. Pollfttss, and pilgrims from ali parts of the world. The Pope later appeared on the balcony, blessing the world while 200,000 knelt in St. Peter’s Square.
