EXPANSION OF CURRENCY
ADVOCATED IN AMERICA WASHINGTON, April 15. Mr. Steggall, of tho House Banking Committee, told newspapermen to-day that he favored currency inflation, and expressed tho belief that if such a proposal were brought to the floor of the House it would pass. “I think there is a general feeling that there ought to be an expansion of cnrvpurv.” he said. "I favor some method of expansion. I hopo wo are going to have some inflation this session. Then are many ways in which to expand currency, but it all remains to bo worked out.”
