ARRIVAL IN MEXICO
NEW U.S. AMBASSADOR ATTEMPT TO WRECK TRAIN MEXICO CITY, April 15. Mr. xTosophus Daniels, the new United Stales Ambassador, arrived to-day. His reception at the station was without incident. He was preceded from tho train by a dozen detectives, while more than 200 policemen and detectives were on duty in the station.
The police disclosed that an attempt had been made on Friday to wreck Mr. Daniels’ train. A section of tho rail was taken out near the town of Morales, 50 miles north of Monterey, but the attempt was discovered in time.
