INTEREST MAINTAINED Y ATTENDANCE A RECORD There was no diminution of interestamong the spectators at the annual meeting of the Waikohu Returned Soldiers’ Sports Club, continued at Te Karaka this afternoon, each event draw-' ing its following of enthusiasts. Basing its calculations on the gate takings, the coriumtte® estimated that the attendance was a record. Ruru’s cup for the Hunters’ Open Jump, and according to the terms of the donor ia entitled to retain it.
