LABOR DAILY TO PAY SYDNEY, April 12. An action for libel against the Labor Daily, Sydney, brought by George Buckland, former secretary of the Australian Workers’ Union, resulted ju Buckland obtaining judgment, and £SOOO damages. Plaintiff complained of an article in an issue in July, 1932, inferring that he had allied himself with political enemies, and had acted traitorously.
