EARTH TREMORS
RECUR AT N.S.W. TOWN GUNNING, N.S.W., March 29. After a spell of 11 days, during which only a few minor tremors were felt. Gunning district experienced further severe earthquake shocks on Mondav night. The disturbance commenced at 9.20 p.m., with a ’quake that lasted about a minute. A second shock occurred 20 minutes later, followed by one at 2 and another at 4 o’clock this morning. between the four severe shocks, numerous light shocks occurred. This is the first occasion on which four severe ’quakes have been experienced in one night. Despite the assurances of experts that there is no danger to property or life, those living in the area are becoming alarmed.
