SUPPORT FROM N.Z.

EMPIRE MARKETING BOARD (l’er Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. In spite of the statement made in England, and contained in the cablegram from London, the New Zeeland Government so far has given no consideration to its attitude toward tho Empire Marketing Board in the immediate future. It is stated reliably that in view of the repeated assertions of the Premier, the Ht. Hon. G. AV. Forbes, that this Dominion considered the work of the board of the greatest benefit, there is little likelihood of New Zealand agreeing to see its functions ended, and an effort will probably be made to have its work continued.

The costs of the board arc borne by the United Kingdom Government.
