DUNEDIN WOOL PRICES BUYING FAIRLY GENERAL (Per PresH Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. All merino, halfbred, and fine crossbred wools wore down about Id to id a lb., and all crossbreds from la tat l£d » lb. compared with the January sale at the third Dunedin wool sale to-day. Competition was keen right through for all fine Wools, good crossbreds and good Pecks and pieces. Buying was fairly general, both Bradford and tlie Continent securing a fair proportion of the offering. Japan was also operating. Passings were few, the catalogue, offering being 30,315 bales. Many large station caps were forward, and for the most part clips were heavier ip condition and on the whole not quite as attractive as the sorts which made up the catalogues earlier in the season. Following the course of recent auctions, the market was Somewhat easier/ prices being on par with Christchurch rates. The top price this morning was 12Jd for super halfbred. r
