PROSPECTS DECLINING
AMERICAN WHEAT CROP CHICAGO, Feb. 26. The prospects of winter wheat over virtually all the leading producing sections in the south west and middfewest are becoming poorer # as the season advances. - ■ ■ The unusually high temperatures of the past week would have forced growth but for the lack of adequate moisture, and crop conditions, according to reports from various areas, are from 28 to 70 per cent, normal. Unless adequate moisture comes within the next few weeks the condition of all wheat will be lowered.
