CYCLONIC STORM
TRAIN BLOWN OVER BUILDINGS UNROOFED :f; , I (Received December 9, 12 noon.) BRISBANE, Dec. 9. SoVerc damage was caused by a cyclonic storm in the Rockhampton district. A mixed goods train was standing at Coonell station when six carriages were blown over. Fifteen passengers were aboard, but only three were injured. The railway offices, and also the Commonwealth Bank branch were unroofed, and many houses damaged. Crops were ruined and stock killed. All local telegraph and telephone lines are down.
