TIDES AT GISBORNE WHARF

Inman, for Napier. Pukeko, m.v.,. 9.40 p.m., 912 tons. S. Jones, for Napier. Friday, December 9 Margaret W, m.v., 1.15 a.m., 394 tons, L. I). Clark, for Auckland, via the Coast. The Waimea completed the discharge of her Auckland cargo here yesterday and after loading sailed for Napier, from which port she is to be dispatched to-day for Auckland, to .load again for Gisborne <uul Napier. The Poolta, loading for Napier and Gisborne, was expected to leave Lyttelton this morning for Wellington. She is due at Gishokrne on Wednesday next and on completion of discharge and loading will return to Wellington, on route to southern ports to load again for Napier and Gisborne.

The Kaimai, with coal from Greymouth and Westport, arrived at Gisborne from Napier to-day. She was to commence discharge this afternoon.

The Pukeko sailed last night for Napier and will proceed later to Auckland to load there again on Monday and Tuesday for the Coast, Gisborne and Napier. The Awahou 'arrived this morning from Wellington and Napier, and will sail Ibis afternoon for Wellington. She will load there as usual on Monday aiul Tuesday for -Napier and Gisborne.

The Koutunni is due here in the morning from Lyttelton, via Waikoko'pu, and will sail later for the Coast.

The Alargarct W sailed early tin; morning for Tokomaru Bay and Auek land, and will load at the last mentioned port on Monday and Tues -lav for the (least and Gisborne. The Tiroa is to leave Auckland at noon to-morrow for Hicks Bay, Tokomaim Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne arriving here on Monday afternoon. The Shell Company's tanker Pane loft Napier this morning for Gisborne, and will arrive here this afternoon. Tlio Alwyn G is awaiting an ini provoment in the weather before sailing for Hicks Bay for another ship meat of timber.

The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Brisbane.is expected here on December l!) from Bluff to load for Homo. On the completion of her Gisborne loading she will sail for Napier ami Wellington, talcing her departure oil January 3 from the lasi mentioned port for London, via Cape H orn and Las Pa lmas. Messrs. AY i t Bums and Kettle, Limited, are the Gisborne loading agents. The- Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Fort. -Sydney is to load here on December 24 for Home. ‘She will sail later for Napier and Lyttelton, and will be dispatched from the latter port on January 10 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. Messrs. Williams ami Kettle, Limited, are the Gisborne loading agents. Ejn route from Molcau to Waitara with a cargo of wool and coal the o.e.v. K.apui went aground at the mouth of the Waitara River on Sunday. A petition confirming the reduction of capital of the Ellcrm.au shipping lines from £5,450,000 to £2.180.000 has been presented to the High Court iu London. The reduction will' bo effected by returning £6 per share fo shareholders, reducing the nominal value of shares from £lO to £4.
