SEQUEL TO FATALITY
MOTORIST BEFORE COURT (Per Press Association.) TAUAIARUNUI, this day. In the Police Court to-day, William Frederick Leahy was charged with negligently driving a motor car, thereby causing the death of Clement Baldwin Gregg, at Kurioi, on Saturday last. Sergeant Sivycr said the police had ascertained that the accused was driving a car on Saturday night and had »" collisioni at Karioi; also that he had driven away, leaving the body on i the roadside. The accused was remanded to Wanganui on December 14, bail being allowed in tihe'Sum of £IOO, with two sureties of'£10() ear-h.
