ALLEGATION OF DUMPING (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Pointing out that New Zealand growers of small fruits were suffering hardship, Mr. A. 1). McLeod (Coal., Wairarapa) asked in the House yesterday whether the Government would take steps to prevent the dumping of Australian small fruits into tho Dominion. The Hon. W. Downie Stewart said he, appreciated the importance and the urgency of the question, and he was anxious to have the matter settled at the earliest possible moment. It .would be discussed by Cabinet at the first opportunity. Mr. W. P. Endean (Coal., Parnell): Give Australia six months’ notice of cancellation of the agreement.
