CONCILIATION PROCEEDINGS (Por Press Association.! WELLINGTON, this day. An application for a. drivers’ award on a New Zealand basis is being heard to-day in the Conciliation Council, the assessors being drawn from various parts. There is a. considerable disparity between the demands and the employers’ offer. Mr. T. 01.O 1 . Bishop, for the employers, said they were anxious for an agreement, but did not wish to pay unduly for it.
