TWO KILLED IN CELLAR
OVERCOME BY WINE FUMES BELGRADE, Oct. 12. A strange accident occurred in % a wiite cellar near Osek; in ■ Slavonia, this week. The owner of a vineyard, an elderly man named Ignio Yelitch, went: to his cellar, where now wine was fermenting, and fell unconscious) overcome by the fumes. 1 • His one-legged son went to his rescue, but his v*oodon leg slipped as lie went down the steps'ami .he fell and soon became unconscious too. A third man went, in to rescue the first, anil, when he also fell stupefied, a panic arose among the neighbors, and for some time -none dared go near. When a rescue party eventually arrived the first amjj third man were already dead, and the son; who 'had fallen nearer the fresh air, was barely ■alive.
