LONDON WOOL SALES PUNTAS PRICES ADVANCE (Received Dec. 6, noon.) LONDON, Dec. 5. At the wool sales, 7548 bales were offered, including 2082 from Now Zealand, and approximately 8000 hales were sold. There was brisk home and 'Continental competition. The Continent took the 'bulk of Puntas at 5 per cent, above the closing rate of the last series. New Zealand sales: Greasy halfbred, Nfttd/B, 1 l)il; crossbred, Waitio, Did, Sjd; halfbred lamb slipe, Pareora, 12>d; scoured*, 1111/RI), 17d, 18Jd. Tho Bradford market is very firm, to'pnmkers refusing to make concessions.
