AUCKLAND MEETING TWO RECORDS LOWERED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Two local records were broken and two move were equalled bv members ol the visiting team of English broadsulers at- Western Springs speedway to-night. Farndou, he was ssec. slow, but later m the race he equalled harndons speed, and in one lap of the same event lie also equalled A. Mattson’s lap record of 18 4-ssec. In covering four laps in (7sec. from a rolling start in the race, he broke the existing record by 2-5 of a second. Tho other outstanding rider was N. Kev, who covered four Japs in lmin. 2 ■ lssec. from a standing start, also a r. . The track was in excellent order, aim the races generally were the fastest ever s. at the track.
