A local factory engineer named Romans, who says lie is "wired for sound" by nature; hears everything broadcast from the Lodz station although he is seldom near a receiving set. Romans amazed specialists when lie told them of his receiving powers. Specialists decided that he possessed some "inexplicable radiolike faculty."
