Floral Decoration
FA tables are becoming dqinticr than ever, a reaction from tire e6cktail party school of entertaining, in which there is no scope for charming effects, wrote a Londou correspondent by the last mail. A pretty idea in floral decoration might be adopted for the small tea party. The carnations, instead of being massed in a vase, are scattered on the lace table centro, which, by the way, almost covers the muslin teacloth. Candles tone with the china, and stand in crystal candlesticks in place of flower vases.
Each plate is covered with a lace d’oyloy to match the tea napkins and table centre. The effect of daintiness is completed by the way in which the cloth drapes over the table.
