The Oxford Groups
ANE of the most remarkable books of the year is Mr. A. J. Russell's “For Sinners Only," the story Of tho Oxford Groups. The book was first printed in July, and since then five editions have been issued. The author, the editor of a Sunday newspaper in London, tells of what lie saw and did in the Oxford Group, of how it showed him, amongst other things, (lie secret of victory over certain personal problems by which he had been frequently defeated, and that the only true social life was the Fellowship of the Spirit—the social life of eternity. The book is really remarkable, and full of surprises. The writer considers that the new world revival is surely at hand, and it is coming to us in the same way that Christianity first burst on a Pagan world. (Hodder and Stoughton.)
