ALLEGED POISONING
BROTHER’S ALLEGATIONS YOUNG MAN CHARGED (Received December 3, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY; Dec. 3. George Champion, 30, was committed for trial on a charge of having caused Ids brother Charles to take poison, so as to endanger his life. Giving evidence, Charles said that during an evening at the pictures, ids brother bought two bottles of lemonade. Witness drank some, but it tasted bitter. He mentioned the fact to his brother, who drank the remainder of the contents of the bottle. Medical evidence was given that the quantity of poison consumed by Champion was very small. Bhil was iixed at £SO. Charles went as surety for his brother’s appearance.
