TE KARAKA NEWS
A very jolly evening in the form of a surprise party was organised by Miss L. .Kuril and friends of Mr. M. Callaghan to celebrato his twentyfirst birthday'last Wednesday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Castles, Kanakanaiu. The evening was happily spent in games, dancing, ping-pong ami singing, concluding with a delicious supper,in which a beautiful birthday cake was cut, and the singing of “For lie’s a Jolly Good Fellow’’ brought a happy evening to a close.
