ASHBURTON MEETING (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. The Ashburton County Racing Club’s summer meeting was held to-day in dull weather and witii the attendance fair. The track was excellent. Winchmore Handicap.—& Denise, 1; 1 I’olydora, 2; 4 Dorian, 3.. Scratched: Memories, Grampian, Gay Nita, Shelter, Roshen, and Nightforni. Won by a length, and a head. Time, 1.14 3-5. Melrose Handicap.—2 St. Felix, 1; 11 College Boy, 2; 9 Waress, 3. Scratched : Rewai. Won by a neck, and three lengths. Time, 3.24 4-5. Tinwald Handicap.—l Cricket Bat, 1 ; 2 Concentrate, 2; 5 Starshooter, 3. All started. Won by half a length, and a head. Time, 1.38 3-5.
