The following official report was is- | sued by the wool brokers: "There was • «. representative bench of buyers, and bidding was keen for anything showing fine quality, but coarse sorts wore | somewhat' neglected. The bulk of the | purchases were made by the Continent, Bradford giving support on suitable lots. The wool opened up in good p conditions this year, and the display . was rather better than usual, owing , . to the good winter and spring experienced in the district.
