Mr. W. Keith, who for the past live years has 1 ecu merchandise manager in Hastings for Messrs. Roach’s, Limited, was threw died by the members of the staff of that firm ou the occasion of his departure aw Gisborne to take up the position of merchandise manager for Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Limited. Mr. Gordon Roach, on behalf of the .st:HY, expressed in fitting terms the goodfellowship that, existed' 'between Mr. Keith and Ids fellow-workers, and expressed regret that he was departing. As a token of the esteem in which lie was lie-id. Mr. Keith was asked to accept an eiderdown ouilt. Mr. Keith was also the guest of honor at a gathering of the grocery trade representatives, who presented .him with a pipe. Mr. and Mrs. Keith left for Gisborne on Wednesday evening.
