TOURS BY SWIMMERS
The annual meeting of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was hold in Christchurch on Wednesday evening. It was decided that tho collection of registration fees be suspended for the current season. Several centres wrote expressing approval of the suggestion that American swimmers should be invited to tour the Dominion this season. It urns decided to mako inquiries as to tho cost of a tour by Japanese swimmers, and also to ascertain from the Australian Union whether the American swimmers who are to visit Australia this season will be available to visit tho Dominion at the conclusion of their Australian engagements.
