GUBERNATORIAL POWERS (British Official Wireless.) Rec. noon. • RUGBY, Nov, 30. The discussion on the special powers and responsibilities of the "GovernorGeneral and Governors was continued at the Indian Round-Table Conference. Generally, it was agreed that powers must be granted to the GovernoiGenoral to carry out effectively the responsibilities entrusted to him, including powers to take immediate action to meet any emergency that might arise.
