When : Mr. ft.' Rothery returned to the garage j at 6.20 p.m. lie found the building full iof smoke. He jumped into the pit. as t the flames appeared and soon had them I smothered. lie then went down to the Huatoki Stream with a bucket, and extinguished the fire at its source.
