CONSECRATION OF BISHOP (Per Pross Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Tho Bisliop-elect of Melanesia, the Rt ltev. W. II- Baddeley, formerly vicar of Sonthbank, Yorkshire, was consecrated yesterday morning in the •athedrnl church, St. Mary s, i’ariielt, at a most impressive service. I hero was a crowded congregation, and some people had to stand. The actual laymgon of hands by the archbishop and lour bishops surrounding the Bishop-elect, and each with a hand on his head, was a memorable sight. -
