SPEEDWAY MISHAP
RIDER SERIOUSLY INJURED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. While practising broadsiding at the Western Springs Stadium, Wiliam MoDevitt, 2(7, of Morningside, lost control of his machine and crashed heavily, receiving concussion and other head injuries. His condition is serious.
