OPENING FOR TRAFFIC
(Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this duj-
Goods traffic on the Stratford-Main Trunk railway will commence on December 12.

There will be at least one train daily each way.
Passenger traffic is not likely to commence for a few' months as there is a. (rood deal of finishing work to be completed, and time lias to be allowed for the consolidation of the track before fust traffic is safely possible.
