£366 DAMAGES
INJURIES TO A YOUTH (Pci- Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Damages aggregating £366 11s 6d, less £65 paid under the Workers’ Compensation Act, were awarded in the Supreme Court to-day by the Chief Justice in a reserved judgment in the ease of Reuben Oscar Knight, 15, against Rupert Henry Knight, of Te IToro, a farmer, arising out of an accident in which the boy was injured through a horse bolting. His Honor said that in his opinion there was ample evidence to establish tjiat. however satisfactory and harmless tin' horse might he as a plough horse, it had a habit, of which the defendant was aware, which made it dangerous and unfit for use in harness.
