At a meeting of the Poverty Bay Professional Athletic and Cycling Club s committee, held on Mondoy evening, there were present Messrs. E. Sharpies, chairman. R. Gritton, B. Hale, H. J. Sutton, R. Humphreys, R. Dolman, G. Hewson, 11. Miller, V- Venables, C. L. Davy, C. E. Church, and J. Watts, lion, secretary. Mr. J. Bradley wag appoint, ed to the list of judges, and Miss D. Haugh and Messrs. IT. Easton and N. Davy were admitted to membership. A deputation to meet the committee of the Te Karaka Sports Club, concerning the inclusion of professional events in the programme for that clubs holiday meeting, was arranged for. The deputation will visit the country centre on Friday. It was decided that all entries for field events at weekly track meetings will close on Saturday evenings, as in the case of entries for track events.
